Tribute to Ron Kurtz
It is with great sadness, as well as love and gratitude, that I enter 2011
with the loss of my dear friend and teacher, the amazing Ron Kurtz, creator
of the Hakomi Method. Ron died suddenly of a heart attack on January 4. I
miss him already, his wit, his humour, his compassion, his imagination and
inventiveness, his never-ending quest for the most elegant and effective
way to help others and to practise his art. I’ll write more about this unique
being in the coming days and weeks. I know there are thousands of you who
join me in holding his memory dear and in sending love and support to his
beloved wife and daughter, Terry and Lily. We’ll all miss him dreadfully!
